Testing a new custom Scanning pipeline, I just wanted to share some new character models that were scanned and rendered in Softimage, rendered with Arnold.
Infinite-Realities offers a cutting edge scanning service along side a very strong Artistic edge. With over 15 years of Games Industry experience with strong discipline
s to solid edge flow and well defined texture creation, we offer an un-paralleled scanning and character creation service. With assets available in most 3rd party rendering applications.
Each character takes between 4- 8 hours to convert from a scan to a render-able, animate-able character. More about the process.

Great results with Photoscan! I was curious though, what is the camera setup for the "Stereo Photogrammetry" models above?

Thanks Corey. This wasn't Photoscan but DI3D at the time. It was using the old DI3D kit. 4 Cameras, 2x either side.

Ah, gotcha. Would you be able to get a similar quality from the four images pumped into Photoscan?
Also, have you tried 123DCatch? I'd really be interested in seeing some of your photo processed in there as a comparison. The studio I am at has used 123DCatch for many scans and we just started investigating Photoscan after coming across your site.
Thanks again for the info!

Yes you do, in fact they are better as Photoscan recognizes all images together and not just as pairs. I have tried 123DCatch, the results aren't as good. Photoscan is the way to go.

Hello!
July 18, 2013I'm very impressed your works!
I have the question about your pipeline:
What is "Stereo Photogrammetry, Monochrome Data" stage, why do you do it?
Why do you can't use "360 monochrome Scan" for start point?
